BRODHEAD PARK

CITY COUNCIL AND RENO POLICE REMOVE ILLEGAL SQUATTER CAMPS FROM BRODHEAD PARK!

A fleet of city workers and equipment descended on Brodhead Park on the Truckee River on Wednesday, November 21, and by mid-afternoon, practically 100% of the illegal and polluting squatters’ camps and garbage had been removed.Congratulations are in order to both the City Council and Reno Police for doing a great job at the park location!

Reno now has two lovely parks with no tent campers, Pickett Park and Brodhead Park, but there are dozens more parks and areas left to clean up.

We have NO doubt that the Council and RPD can and will get them clean and safe, but they need our help and support.

Call in YOUR parks’ situations to City Council and RPD. If you get no response, call QOL-Reno (685-8200), and we’ll work with you to have the kind of community we ALL want: safe, clean, law-abiding, and in a city with firm, fair laws that benefit everyone!
